Luis has been actively competing with the Trident Gunworks Poseidon prototype, providing valuable insight into how the platform performs under the pressures of live-fire competition.
Match environments demand speed, accuracy, consistency, and reliability-making them an ideal proving ground for evaluating new designs and enhancements.
Throughout the season, Luis has continued to push the Poseidon prototype in challenging competitive settings, helping gather performance data while demonstrating the pistol’s capabilities on the range. His feedback plays an important role in refining the platform and ensuring it meets the standards expected by serious shooters.
In his own words:
“7,500 rounds and counting. Every single one of those rounds has been invested in finding the perfect balance and dialing this gun in… The truth is, every new platform comes with an adjustment period. The better the shooter, the faster that adjustment happens-but there’s always a process. The key is putting in the work, and that’s exactly what we’ve done. The result? A gun that has been running absolutely flawlessly and giving me every reason to keep pushing harder.
What excites me most is being part of the journey. I’ve been fortunate enough to put this Trident through its paces, and don’t take that opportunity for granted. Every range session, every match, every round downrange has had a purpose behind it.
Let’s face it—we all wish we could shoot more. But with the time I’ve had behind this gun, I can honestly say the work has been intentional, productive, and worth every second. The foundation has been built, the confidence is growing, and now it’s time to put it to the test.
I can’t wait to roll into some major matches, line up with the best shooters in the game, and see how we stack up against the other heavy hitters when it matters most. The work is being done-now it’s time to let it eat.”
